• At 3:19 p.m., an alarm sounding in the 2600 block of Ranchito Drive.
• At 4:46 p.m., a citizen assist in the 2800 block of Independence Street.
• At 7:20 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1500 block of Kingsway Drive.
• At 9:25 p.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of South Ellis Street.
• At 10:05 p.m., emergency medical service in the 2800 block of Independence Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

• At 1:22 a.m., emergency medical service in the 3300 block of Campster Drive.
• At 1:41 a.m., an alarm sounding at 1000 Towers Circle.
• At 7:15 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1100 block of Ranney Avenue.
• At 7:39 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1700 block of Broadway.
• At 8:52 a.m., Cape Girardeau Police Department assist at the riverfront.
• At 9:40 a.m., emergency medical service in the 900 block of Hackberry Street.
• At 11:40 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1800 block of Cape LaCroix Road.
• At 1:07 p.m., an illegal burn in the 1400 block of Bessie Street.
• At 2:21 p.m., emergency medical service at Doctors' Park.
