* At 5:29 p.m., a first alarm in the 500 block of Hanover Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Tuesday:

* At 12:53 a.m., citizen assist in the 1900 block of Briarwood Drive.

* At 7:48 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of South West End Boulevard.

* At 9:32 a.m., still alarm at 612 S. Sprigg St.

* At 12:12 p.m., emergency medical service in the 500 block of North Sprigg Street.

* At 3:05 p.m., a unit responded to the 1200 block of Big Bend Road.

* At 3:48 p.m., a unit responded to the 100 block of South Benton Street.

* At 5:24 p.m., emergency medical services in the unit block of Village Drive.
