* At 6:44 p.m., an alarm sounding in the 2000 block of North Kingshighway.

* At 9:03 p.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of South West End Boulevard.

* At 11:28 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1700 block of Surrey Lane.

* At 11:28 p.m., emergency medical service in the 2100 block of Woodhaven Road.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

* At 8:46 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1100 block of Cape Rock Drive.

* At 10 a.m., a gas odor at Kingshighway and Rust Avenue.

* At 2:26 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of Whitener Street.

* At 3:16 p.m., emergency medical service to an accident on County Road 205.
