MOUNDS, Ill. -- Erma Crow Guy, 92, of Mounds died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at her home. She was born April 17, 1909, at Mounds, the daughter of Charles and Lizzie Clanton Daniels. She married Leonard James Crow in 1927. He died in 1956. She married William Earl Guy in 1957. He died in 1971...

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Erma Crow Guy, 92, of Mounds died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at her home.

She was born April 17, 1909, at Mounds, the daughter of Charles and Lizzie Clanton Daniels. She married Leonard James Crow in 1927. He died in 1956. She married William Earl Guy in 1957. He died in 1971.

She was a retired sales clerk who worked for J.J. Blums, P.N. Hirsch and Connell's Department Store, all in Mounds. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by three sons, James Crow and Lonnie Crow, both of Mounds, and Donald Crow of Boise, Idaho; a daughter, Wanda Austin of Mounds; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two special friends, Jason Junkerman and Alan Gage.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and 14 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. F. Jerry Herring officiating.

Burial will be at the Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds.
