Cape Girardeau
The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWIs
* Kelly W. Elser, 40, of 3134 Fifth St., Doe Run, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, expired license plates and driving with less than two headlights.
* Verdist Poindexter, 38, of 413 S. Benton St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, speeding and not wearing a seat belt.
* Nathan P. Ruesler, 23, of 1037 N. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
Arrests
* William E. Sanders Jr., 17, of 1718 N. Main St., was arrested for possession of intoxicants by a minor.
* Larry Eugene Hood Sr., 52, of 1006 N. Frederick St., Apt. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
* Robert L. Henry, 20, of 805 Ranney St., was arrested on a St. Louis warrant for burglary.
Assault
* Domestic assault was reported.
Theft
* A Cobra radar detector, Kenwood amplifiers, Fosgate subwoofers and CDs were reported stolen at Bellevue and Pacific streets.
Miscellaneous
* A 38-year-old female was taken into protective custody.
