Cape Girardeau
The following items were released Thursday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
* Tiffany N. Hatfield, 21, of 1710 N. Sprigg St. Apt. 506, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.
Arrests
* Steven P. Martin-King, 22, of 1109 Giboney Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for stealing.
* Robert E. Spears, 49, was arrested on a warrant for a Missouri Department of Corrections conditional release violation.
Summonses
* Dewayne E. Felty, Olive St., received a summons for failure to yield and failure to show proof of insurance.
* Nicholas W. Edwards, 18, of Towers North Room 407, received a summons for minor in possession of alcohol.
Assaults
* Assault in the second degree was reported at 1701 Lacey St. Thomas L. Yarbro, 49, of 1105 Giboney Ave., was arrested in connection with the complaint.
* Assault of a law enforcement officer in the third degree was reported. A subject was taken into custody, pending filing of formal charges.
Thefts
* Stealing was reported at Main and Themis Streets. Jason L. Swilley, 25, of 443 Marie St., was arrested in connection with the complaint.
* A golf cart was reported stolen at 1021 Southern Expressway.
* A bicycle was reported stolen at 319 N. Frederick St.
* Heartland Auto Plaza, 447 N. Main St., reported eight counts of stealing from vehicles at 566 S. Kingshighway.
* A bicycle was reported stolen at 205 Caruthers Ave.
* Plaza Auto Sales, 60 S. Kingshighway, reported a stolen dealer tag.
* K-Mart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported a CD player and headphones stolen.
* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported gasoline stolen.
* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
* Medication was reported stolen at 337 N. Park.
* BP D-Mart, 3276 William St., reported gasoline stolen.
Burglary
* A burglary was reported at 922 Jefferson Ave. DVDs were reported stolen.
* Cash Only, 2012 William St., reported a burglary. Currency, coins and cigarettes were reported stolen.
Property damage
* Broken windows were reported at 225 N. Frederick St.
Miscellaneous
* Tampering was reported at 43 N. Henderson Ave.
* Weiser Honda, 385 Siemers Drive, reported check forgery.
* Forgery and false declaration were reported at 40 S. Sprigg St. Two subjects were taken into custody, pending filing of formal charges.
* A 1992 brown GMC truck was towed at 28 S. Mount Auburn Road.
* A 1985 Gray Chrysler was towed at 254 Silver Springs Road.
