The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* James Edward Myers, 25, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to drive on right half of the roadway.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon, driving while intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and expired license plates.

Arrests

* Curtis K. Sturms, 20, 923 Drew Ave., Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

* Jadyn P. Smith, 19, 921 Hackberry St., was arrested on suspicion of assault and property damage.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of trespassing.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer, speeding in a work zone and possession of a controlled substance.

* Charles Joseph Morrill, 55, 831 Wellington Drive, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Candice Marie Floyd, 45, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Ashley Latisha Smith, 18, St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Claire's, 3049 William St.

* Rachel Elizabeth Welker, 33, 1403 Bessie St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Christy Renee Rains, 30, 739 Giboney Ave., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* David Paul Rains, 29, 739 Giboney Ave., was arrested on suspicion of assault and property damage.

Summonses

* Austin S. Goodin, 43, 2126 Abbey Road, received a summons for an animal nuisance.

* Kenneth Terrell Tucker, 19, 1117 Ranney Ave., received a summons for prohibited acts (noise).

* Gabryale Curry, 20, 1127 S. Ellis St., received a summons for prohibited acts (noise).

Assaults

* Third-degree assault was reported.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported gasoline stolen.

* A battery charger, Stihl chain saw, Snap-on toolbox and tools were reported stolen from 1810 Dumais Drive.

* BiState, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

* Medication was reported stolen at 1010 Scherer Lane.

* A cell phone was reported stolen at 335 N. Kingshighway.

* Money was reported stolen at 415 S. Pacific St.

* A refrigerator, table and tire rims were reported stolen at 1034 Broadway.

Property damage

* A vehicle window was reported broken at 1225 N. West End Blvd.

* SEMO Laundry, 123 N. Pacific St., reported a window damaged.

* A vehicle window was reported broken at 1506 Big Bend Road.

* A vehicle window was reported broken at Pear Street and Beaudean Lane.

Burglary

* A wallet was reported taken from 555 N. Spring St.

* Door glass was reported broke at 1515 Good Hope St., were a Wii, remotes, driving wheels, a balance board, Wii Fit and assorted games were reported stolen.

Miscellaneous

* An animal bite was reported at 1701 Lacey St.

* Trespassing was reported.

* Trespassing was reported.

* A 20-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
