The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Lorenza W. Goza, 34, address unknown, was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation and Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for improper registration and no operator's license.
  • Jordan W. Sides, 21, of 1217 N. Spanish St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for property damage and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for driving while revoked.
  • Amanda E. Baker, 20, of 321 Dearmont Circle, No. 411, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Anthony T. Jarrett, 44, of 525 N. Silver Springs Road, was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for failure to appear for insufficient funds check and a Festus, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for no operator's license.
  • Ronald A. Wright, 44, of St. Louis was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for suspended operator's license.
  • Patricia A. Cox, 42, of 422 Bellevue St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for no proof of insurance and immediate notice of an accident and contempt of court for failure to pay fine for stealing.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • Damin C. Todd, 17, of 303 S. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of stealing and property damage.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Summonses

  • David S. Allen, 43, of Paducah, Ky., received a summons for illegal sign.
  • Dennis W. McDonald, 33, of Jackson received a summons for illegal sign.

Thefts

  • A cell phone was reported stolen at 205 Caruthers Ave.
  • Forgery/fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
  • A trash can was reported stolen at 1725 Lakeshore Drive.
  • A push mower was reported stolen at 740 Watkins Drive.

Property damage

  • A mailbox was reported damaged at 2205 Cambridge Drive.

  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • Tampering with a witness was reported.
  • A peace disturbance was reported.

Thefts

  • Kidds, 304 E. Jackson Blvd., reported a theft of $65 worth of fuel.
  • Propane tanks were reported stolen in the 4600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A burglary, property damage and theft of a wallet were reported in the 4900 block of Parkside Court.

Miscellaneous

  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 2900 block of East Main Street.
