Cape Girardeau
The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Romeo P. Smith, 19, 601 N. Sprigg St., Apt. 3, was arrested on suspicion of trafficking crack cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.
- Ivan M. Edwards, 26, 1032 N. Frederick St., D3, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and hindering prosecution.
- Terry A. Mead, 20, 1437 Kingshighway, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and speeding.
- Frank W. Ward, 38, Jessica E. Jones, 19, and Kara O. Mabry, 20, all of Jackson, were arrested on suspicion of stealing (shoplifting).
- Deseray A. Racer, 18, and Janeice C. Herron, 17, both of Ironton, Mo., were arrested on suspicion of stealing (shoplifting).
- Justin D. Lynn, 21, 1430 Independence St., No. 4, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Mable L. Mercer, 37, of Wyatt, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for stealing.
DWIs
- Paul J. Chatman, 22, of 646 Terry Lane, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence, driving while revoked, failure to drive on right half of roadway and improper turn signal.
- Tyler J. Brockman, 30, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of failure to signal, driving while under the influence and driving while license revoked.
- A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges of recovered stolen vehicle.
- Rodney D. Smith, 18, of 955 Fort S., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for stealing; failure to pay fine for no proof of insurance and failure to pay fines for revoked operator's license and seat-belt violation.
