Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• A subject is in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

• Shawn E. Pearson, 24, 1016 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
• A subject was in custody pending formal charges of no license plate light and possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine).
• A subject was released pending formal charges of forgery and passing bad checks.
• Bobbie J. Mosley, 49, 2521 Singing Hills, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for no operator's license.

Summonses

• Earl D. Smithmier, 65, of Farmington, Mo., was issued a summons for stealing. Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported miscellaneous items stolen.
• Joseph L. Jezierski, 22, 312 Lorimier St., Apt. 359, was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia.
• Thomas P. Klockenkemper, 41, of 105 Clark Ave., No. 304, was issued a summons for trespassing.
