Cape police report 11/27/06

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

• A 23-year-old man is in custody for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, unlawful use of a weapon and open burning.

Assault

• Third-degree assault was reported at the intersection of Park and Merriwether streets.
• Third-degree domestic assault was reported.

Theft

• Numerous CDs were reported stolen at 409 Sheridan Drive.
• Seagram's Extra Dry liquor was reported stolen from Huck's Convenience Store, 353 S. Kingshighway.
• Gasoline was reported stolen from Bi-State Convenience Store, 400 Morgan Oak St.
• A Bahn 800-watt amp was reported stolen from 1929 Delwin, Apt. 1.

Property damage

• A vehicle console was reported damaged at 302 N. Middle St.

Miscellaneous

• Peace disturbance was reported at the 600 block of Terry Lane.
• A blue 1990 Chevrolet Lumina was towed at 115 S. Pacific St.
• A 19-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Statutory sodomy was reported.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported.
