Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department reported the following incidents. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Casey Jo Moser, 18, 503 S. Frederick St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
• Arron Daniel McCrary, 18, 201 Seventh St., Scott City, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
• Nicole Elizabeth Mather, 19, 503 S. Frederick St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
• Anthony Lynn Hempstead, 19, 2834 Independence St., Apt. 5, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
• Two juveniles, 15, were cited into juvenile court for stealing.
• A subject was in custody pending formal charges for tampering with a motor vehicle / no operator's license.
• Two subjects were in custody pending formal charges for first-degree trespassing.
• Tyler G. McNeely, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of property damage at Club Moxy.
• Mary E. Malone, 38, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.
• Jonathan M. Gephart, 21, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.
• Ronnie W. Preyer, 46, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree trespassing.

Summons

• Jonathan M. Gephart, 21, no address given, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.

Assault

• A domestic assault was reported, with endangering the welfare of a child.
• A second-degree domestic assault was reported.
• A third-degree assault was reported.

Thefts

• Jasper's, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported the theft of gasoline.
• BP, 3276 William St., reported the theft of gasoline.
• A. 25-caliber handgun was reported stolen from 1222 N. Spanish St.
• A purse and cash were reported stolen from 1448 N. Kingshighway.
• Life Care Center, 2852 Independence St., reported the theft of medication.
• A safe and money were reported stolen from 2829 Themis, Apt. 5.
• A computer and DVD player were reported stolen from 237 N. Ellis St.

Property damage

• A wall was reported spray painted at Trinity Lutheran School, 55 N. Pacific St.
• A wall was reported spray painted at 835 Broadway.
• Club Moxy, 107 N. Main St., reported damage to a bathroom wall.
• The City of Cape Girardeau reported damage to playground equipment at 1 Rotary Drive (Kiwanis Park).
• A car parked at 816 Themis St. was reported damaged.

Miscellaneous

• An attempted burglary was reported in the 500 block of Emerald Street.
• A driver's license was reported lost.
• Careless and imprudent driving was reported.
• A case of possession of a controlled substance was under investigation.
