Cape police report 10/18/04

Cape Girardeau

The following items were released Sunday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

Jeffrey A. Michel, no age given, 2021 Woodlawn Ave., received a summons for driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

Michael Travie DeGonia, 25, of 235 N. Lorimier St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no seat belt.

A female, 48, was taken into protective custody.

Summonses

Travelle Cortez Primm, 25, of 1335 West Hill Drive, received a summons for speeding, possession of a controlled substance, no insurance and failure to display operator's license.

Joe David Davis, 19, of 31 N. Henderson Ave., received a summons for no operator's license and no seat belt.

Sarah Elizabeth Smith, 20, of 235 N. Lorimier St., received a summons for hindering prosecution.

Donald H. Howard Jr., 42, 1100 Ranney Ave., and Thoms Guinn, 60, 1013 Ranney Ave., were issued summonses for peace disturbance.

Assaults

Assault was reported at Main and Independence streets.

Assault was reported in the 400 block of South Louisiana St.

Thefts

Dollar General Store reported clothing and miscellaneous items taken at 724 Broadway. A subject was taken into custody in connection with the complaint.

A wallet and cell phone were reported taken in the 1400 block of South West End Boulevard.

A purse and wallet were reported stolen at 3439 William St.

A Gameboy was reported stolen at 511 Themis St.

Property damage

Ashley Bailey Custom Cabinets reported a window broken at 127 N. Main St. William Lee Nelson, 30, of 2813 Whitener St., received a summons in connection with the complaint.

Windows were reported broken at 1230 S. Ellis St.

A vehicle was reported damaged at 1232 Brookshire Road.

Miscellaneous

Littering was reported in the 700 block of Morgan Oak Street.

Famous Barr reported fraudulent use of a credit device at 100 Westfield Shoppingtown West Park. Three were taken into custody.
