The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests Sheila A. Saffel, 40, of 646 S. Spring, Apt. H, was arrested Wednesday on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

A subject was released Wednesday pending the filing of formal charges for hindering prosecution.

A subject was placed in custody Wednesday pending the filing of formal charges for walking in the street when a sidewalk was provided.

A 20-year-old female was placed in protective custody Wednesday.

Billy W. Adams, 30, of 314 W. Davidson, Chaffee, Mo., was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

Two subjects were placed in custody Wednesday pending the filing of formal charges for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an unlicensed vehicle and failure to use a seat belt.

Corey Martin, 23, of 110 S. Hanover, was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau warrants for resisting/interfering with an arrest and first degree trespassing.

Darnell Young, 39, of 412 Koch, was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for first degree tampering.

Summonses Michael K. McLaughlin of 258 S. Lake received a summons Wednesday for a traffic signal violation.

Pamela C. Hicks of 1701 Rand received a summons Wednesday for no proof of insurance, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and failure to yield.

Jerry L. McFadden, 51, of 1048 Meyer Drive, received a summons Thursday for driving while revoked, no insurance and improper registration.

Assaults A domestic assault was reported Thursday to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

A subject was placed in custody Thursday pending the filing of formal charges for domestic assault.

Thefts S car stereo was reported stolen and a vehicle damaged Wednesday at 517 S. Kingshighway.

Gasoline was reported stolen Wednesday by Amoco D-Mart at 3276 William.

A cell phone was reported stolen Wednesday at 10 S. West End Boulevard.

A credit card was reported stolen Thursday by Wal-Mart at 3439 William.

Miscellaneous

A stolen silver 1990 Ford Probe was recovered Wednesday at 1927 N. Kingshighway.

A green 1993 Dodge Shadow was reported abandoned Thursday at 2841 Themis.
