Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department Released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Brian K. Albright, 37, 1537 Whitener St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for parole violation and failure to appear for speeding.
• Jennifer M. Huffstutler, 27, 529 S. Middle St., was arrested on a warrant for probation and parole violation.
• Thomas J. Thornton, 31, of 46 S. Henderson Ave., Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
• Jessie J. Hight, 28, 433 N. Bellevue St., Apt. C, was arrested on a Springfield, Mo., warrant.
• A subject is in custody pending formal charges of filing a false report.
• A subject is in custody pending formal charges of misuse of 911.
• Brandee R. Young, 27, 38 N. Henderson Ave., Apt. B, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation and parole violation.
• Betty A. Logan, 19, of 531S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for first-degree trespassing.

Thefts

• A checkbook was reported stolen at 429 Optimist Drive. Jewelry was also stolen but was later recovered.
• Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
• A purse was reported stolen at 3049 William St.
• Jewelry was reported stolen at 2408 Albert Rasche.

Assaults

• A domestic assault was reported.
• An assault was reported.

Property damage

• AT&T, 800 Broadway, reported a damaged railing.
