Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Jean A. Burke, 52, 2015 Allen Drive, was arrested on a warrant for driving without a valid license.

* Dillon L. Riggin, 18, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Thefts

* Schnuck's, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported stolen cash. Prahans P. Desai, 30, of 2464 Cheetah Lane, was arrested on suspicion of theft.

* A theft was reported at Independence Street and West End Boulevard. Mark A. Brown, 29, no address given, and Trisie A. Egson, 50, 528 N. Fountain St., were arrested on suspicion of robbery, stealing and false impersonation of a law enforcement officer.

* The Rebel Group, 1836 Lexington Ave., reported plants were stolen.

* A basketball was reported stolen at 604 S. Ellis St.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 1014 Bloomfield St.

Miscellaneous

* A 24-year-old man was placed in protective custody at Broadway and North Main Street.

* Bruce Penrod, 51, of 502 N. Neal Ave., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 700 block of August Street.

* A theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

* Property was reported damaged in the 100 block of West Main Street.

* A child custody dispute was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.

* A property dispute was reported in the 700 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of Corinne Street.

* A disturbance was reported in the 700 block of West Main Street.

* A disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of Bel Air Drive.
