Arrests

* Steven M. Spier, 31, of St. Louis, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failures to appear for possession of a controlled substance.

* Robert E. Gary, 28, of 1026 Bloomfield St., was arrested on a Mississippi County warrant for child neglect/nonsupport and on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court for traffic offenses.

Summonses

* Kenneth J. Pieper, 41, of 917 Linden St., received a summons for leash law violation.

* Larenzo D. Braxton, 20, of 3103 Laurel Lane, received a summons for littering.

* Michael J. Hills, 20, of 230 N. Ellis St., received a summons for minor in possession of intoxicants.

Assaults

* Three incidents of domestic assault were reported.

* An assault was reported.

Thefts

* Quick & Save, 2861 Themis St., reported the theft of sunglasses.

* Jewelry was reported stolen at 1985 Longview Drive.

* A motor vehicle reported stolen at 1606 Independence St. was later located.

* Kidds II, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of gasoline.

* Bi-State, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported the theft of gum.

* Identity theft was reported.

* Claire's Store, 3049 William St., reported the theft of a purse. Lindsey L. Robison, 19, of Gordonville, was arrested in connection with the complaint.

* Medications were reported stolen at 1400 S. West End Blvd.

* A screwdriver, hatchet and ax were reported stolen at 1914 Independence St., rear.

* A black and blue bicycle was reported stolen at 1521 Themis St.

Burglaries

* A burglary and theft of prescription medication and currency were reported at 611 Mechaw Drive.

* A burglary and theft of tool box and tools were reported at 1009 Bloomfield St.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance was reported at 19 S. Kingshighway.

* Unlawful for certain person to possess concealable firearm was reported.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Katie L. Overy, 24, of Oak Ridge, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

* Chad D. Valenti, 28, of 914 Old Cape Road, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

* Kelly G. Overy, 23, of Oak Ridge, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and probation violation.

Thefts

* A lawn mower was reported stolen in the 800 block of Birdie Lane.

* Shoplifting was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 100 block of Donald Street.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 200 block of South Union Street.

* Property damage was reported in the 2900 block of Old Orchard Road.
