The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI Marcus D. Turks, 23, of 447 N. Main, Apt. A, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and possession of a concealed weapon.

Arrests Michelle L. Smith, 33, of 909 Hackberry, Apt. 101, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault and armed criminal action.

Thefts A wallet and its contents were reported stolen Tuesday at 2800 Pioneer.

A purse and its contents were reported stolen Tuesday at 632 Broadway.

A Missouri license plate bearing 652-SNN was reported stolen Tuesday at 214 S. Silver Springs.

A purse and its contents were reported stolen and a vehicle window damaged Wednesday at 1409 Brookshire.

A CD player was reported stolen and a vehicle window damaged Wednesday at 622 Bellevue.

A purse and its contents were reported stolen and a vehicle window damaged Wednesday at 1408 Lexington.

A purse and its contents were reported stolen Wednesday at 1305 Sonnet.

Gasoline was reported stolen Wednesday by Kidd's II at 103 N. Kingshighway.

A purse and its contents were reported stolen Wednesday at 1609 Greenbrier.

A cell phone was reported stolen Wednesday at 2800 Pioneer.

Property Damage Renaissance at 139 N. Main reported graffiti spray paint Wednesday.

Arrest Joseph Bowling, 40, of 2307 S. Bridge Street, Scott City, was arrested Wednesday on a Fredericktown warrant and received a summons for driving while suspended.

Miscellaneous A burglary was reported Tuesday in the 200 block of East Washington.

A peace disturbance was reported Tuesday in the 2300 block of North High.

Theft was reported Tuesday in the 300 block of South Shawnee.
