Arrests Edward R. Bryan, 21, 508 Cherry St., Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on two city warrants for contempt of court and failure to pay fine and cost for property damage and resisting/interfering with an arrest.

Brian Keith Vogel, 37, 707 Broadway, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of distribution of a controlled substance.

Brian Keith Albright, 34, 34 N. Park, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of resisting arrest by flight and littering.

Summons Christopher J. Scherer, 17, 1806 Route PP, Scott City, Mo., was issued a summons Tuesday for peace disturbance.

Thefts A gun was reported stolen from 229 S. Middle St. Tuesday.

Cash was reported stolen Tuesday from 1040 N. Fountain St.

A cell phone was reported stolen Tuesday on North Sprigg Street.

A Missouri license plate, 206 HN4, was reported lost or stolen Tuesday.

A license plate sticker was reported stolen Wednesday somewhere in the city limits.

Twelve salvaged vehicles were reported stolen from Cape Auto Pool, 1238 Meadowbrook Drive.

Latches on a cooler were reported pried Tuesday at the Bel-Air Bar and Grill, 24 S. Spanish Street.

A vehicle was reported damaged Tuesday at 614A Good Hope Street.

Miscellaneous

A white 1990 Dodge Dynasty was reported abandoned in the 900 block of South Pacific Street.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported passed Tuesday at Cape West 14 Cinema.

A white 1998 Ford pickup, Missouri license 281 KHZ, that had been reported stolen was recovered Tuesday at 11 S. Spanish St.

A gray 1990 Oldsmobile was reported towed Wednesday from the 400 block of South Hanover Street.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

Johnny Wiggins, 23, 120 S. Russell St., Jackson, was issued two summonses Tuesday for failure to stop at a stop sign and careless and imprudent driving.

Cynthia Fowler, 32, 1368 Farmington Road, Jackson, was issued a summons Tuesday for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Anthony Edwards,18 Route 1, Black, Mo., was issued a summons Wednesday for no valid operator's license.
