The following items were released Thursday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Robert David Weissinger, 603 Mechaw Drive, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

* Shanel Leeann Wilkerson, 17, 931 Jefferson St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Jerry Jay Schweitzer, 44, 1821 Margaret St., was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for failure to appear for traffic charges.

* Andy Lee Primm, 42, 719 William St., Apt. 7, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for non-support and driving an unlicensed vehicle.

* James Ernest Erwin Jr., 30, 916 Stanford, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a city warrant for failure to appear for speeding.

* A 13-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court for suspicion of property damage.

* Evelyn M. Reed, 17, 322 N. Delaware St., Mounds, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Scott D. Ragsdale, 38, 200 Bethel Church Road, Cobden, Ill., was arrested on a warrant from Michigan City, Ind., for larceny.

* Devinice Y. Creighton, 28, 4 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on city warrants for failure to appear for driving while intoxicated and traffic violations.

* Jerry J. Schweitzer, 44, 1821 Margaret St., was arrested on warrants from Ste. Genevieve County for failure to appear on traffic charges.

Theft

* Hastings Books, Music and Videos, 2136 William St., reported the theft of a Play Station II, game, memory card and adapter.

Jackson

The following items were released Thursday by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 300 block of Spring View Drive.

Property damage

* Property Damage was reported in the 200 block of Georgia Street, the 300 block of South Missouri Street and the 300 block of North Ohio Street.

Department of Public Safety

The following items were released by the Department of Public Safety of Southeast Missouri State University. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Theft

* A saxophone belonging to the university was reported stolen from Brandt Hall.

Cape Girardeau County Sheriff

The following items were released Thursday by the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* John R. Gilbert, 34, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for driving while intoxicated and domestic assault.

Arrests

* Toby L. Horman, 28, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing a bad check, and on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Jeffrey M. Bridgeman, 20, of Millersville was arrested on a St. Francois County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of passing a bad check and on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and being a minor in possession of liquor.

* James W. Proffer, 30, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau city warrant for contempt of court.

* Dennis J. Rollet, 30, of Jackson was arrested on a Fredericktown warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of property damage.

* Brenda J. Shackles, 40, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear on an original traffic charge.

* James E. Fullenwider Jr., 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault. He was also issued summonses for driving under revocation, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Summons

* William B. Kauffman, 17, of Jackson was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
