The following items were released Thursday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

Wesley D. Bishop, 28, Route 1, Box 164A Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, violating a stop sign, no insurance and driving without a license.

Arrests

Darrell Andrew Watkins, 21, 2508 Park Ave., Cairo, Ill., was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear in court for a traffic offense.

Steven Ray Quinn, 31, 404 Lincoln St., Apt. 52, Scott City, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no proof of insurance, and warrants for contempt of court for driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to appear and traffic offenses.

Artie Wayne Scott, 46, 104 E. Hopper St., Scott City, was arrested on suspicion of stealing in connection with a report of theft from Shoe Carnival, 276 Siemers Drive.

Charles L. Garmon, 47, 412 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of not having an animal license.

Jesse V. Dorris, 34, 1457 County Road 206, was arrested on suspicion of making a false declaration, and on a city warrant for probation violation for possession of a controlled substance.

Robert T. Coleman, 61, 509 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Theft

A ceiling fan was reported stolen from 313 Themis St.

A dog was reported stolen from 517 North St.

Property damage

Vehicle paint was reported damaged at 5670 County Road 205.

Miscellaneous

Walgreen's, 1 S. Kingshighway, reported a fraudulent attempt to obtain a controlled substance.

A yellow 1984 Cadillac DeVille was reported abandoned at 1425 Cousin St.

A bicycle was reported found in the 500 block of Timmons Way.

A white Ford Escort, Illinois license KIM C07, was reported abandoned in the city.

A 14-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for truancy, being an incorrigible juvenile and resisting arrest.

A 12-speed bicycle was found at 115 N. Park Ave.

Jackson

The following items were released Thursday by the Jackson Police Dept. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

Thomas Dreesen, 45, 535 Mansfield Place, Jackson, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Theft

Theft was reported in the 1400 block of East Main Street.

Property damage

Property damage was reported in the 800 block of North Farmington Road.

Forgery

Report of forgery was made in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
