Thefts; Arrests

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A theft of games, DVDs, CDs, and skateboards and a burglary were reported at 1104 West Mount Drive, Apt. 105. An 11-year-old was taken into custody in connection with the incident.
  • Associated Sheet Metal in Jackson reported cash and a cell phone stolen.
  • A purse and cash were reported stolen at 621 Cordova Lane.
  • An iPod mini, cash and a wallet were reported stolen at 100 West Park Mall.
  • A computer and equipment were reported stolen at 1101 Bloomfield St.

Assault

  • An assault and tampering with a victim were reported.

Miscellaneous

  • Trespassing was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Andrew R. McClendon, 23, of 502 N. Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in a single lane.
  • Robert W. Penrod, 27, of 502 N. Neal St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thefts

  • Bicycles were reported stolen in the 200 block of West Mary Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 200 block of Tracy Street.
  • Property damage was reported in the 1700 block of Lee Avenue.
