Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending the filing of charges for domestic assault, assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Larry David Leezer, 36, of Naylor, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.
  • A suspect was in custody pending filing of charges for speeding, driving without a license and driving with a suspended license.
  • A 14-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for walking in the street when sidewalks provided and a curfew violation.
  • Jason A. Williams, 28, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Demetria L. Rodgers, 21, of Kennett, Mo., was arrested on a warrant.
  • Jennifer A. Dickman, 21, of 45 S. West End Blvd., Apt. 211, was arrested on suspicion of stealing newspapers from Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd.

Burglaries

  • Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported a burglary. A door was reported damaged, and a television was reported stolen.
  • A burglary was reported at 2008 William St. A door was reported damaged, and money and a credit card were reported stolen.

Thefts

  • A wallet was reported stolen at Arena Park.
  • CDs and a CD case were reported stolen at 3619 Julie Drive.
  • CDs and a paycheck were reported stolen at 430 Lorraine Drive.
  • Frank's Cars, 607 Napa Circle, reported a vehicle stolen, Missouri dealer license plate D7994C.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • Two bicycles were reported stolen from 2545 Albert Rasche Drive.
  • Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

Summonses

  • Joshua L. Pohlman, of Perryville, Mo., received a summons for following too closely after a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Mount Auburn Road and Route K.
  • Lydia P. Menz, 17, of Chaffee, Mo., received a summons for playing loud music.
  • John J. Kramer, 20, of St. Louis received a summons for playing loud music.
  • Bonnie L. Bragg, of 1501 N. Water St., received a summons for following too closely after a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of William Street and U.S. 61.
  • Laura J. Stevens, of Perryville, Mo., received a summons for failure to stop for a steady red light and failure to show proof of insurance after a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Cape Rock Drive and U.S. 61.

Property damage

  • A vehicle window was reported damaged at 127 Chimney Rock. A wallet was reported stolen in the incident.
  • A vehicle's paint was reported scratched at 121 S. Sprigg St.
  • A sliding-glass door was reported damaged at 121 East Rodney Drive.
  • A residence and a dog were reported spray painted at 700 S. Benton St.
  • Cape Girardeau reported damage to concrete steps and a wall at Water and Independence streets.

Assaults

  • An assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

  • A purse was found at 1 Capaha Park.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Theft

  • A cell phone was reported stolen in the 5100 block of Lexington Drive.
  • A theft was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.
  • Two thefts were reported in the 4600 block of Greenwood Circle.

Assault

  • An assault was reported in the 100 block of Donald Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported on South Shawnee Boulevard.
  • Property was reported found on South Shawnee Boulevard.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 2600 Block of Old Cape Road.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported on West Washington Street.
