The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Willie C. Shannon, 26, of 650 N. Fountain St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.
  • Jermen J. Rudd, 20, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, endangering the welfare of children, driving while suspended, speeding and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
  • Kenneth L. Carter, 36, of 421 North St., Apt. B, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Two juveniles are in custody on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle.
  • Julius H. Rutherford, 32, of 523 N. Fountain St., was arrested on a St. Louis County warrant for dangerous drugs and child neglect and a U.S. Marshal's warrant for possession of cocaine.
  • Matthew J. Komorech, 25, of 1558 Independence St., No. 1, was arrested on suspicion of tampering, property damage and stealing.
  • Nathaniel C. Smith, 20, of 430 Sheridan, Apt. 8K, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute and unlawful use of a weapon.
  • Dale A. Fuller, 44, of Katy, Texas, was arrested on suspicion of sexual misconduct.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while revoked.
  • Dequandria N. Boatright, 18, of 35 Mason St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for contempt of court.
  • Charlotte R. Smith, 34, of Delta was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Jennifer C. Rodgers, 26, of Bertrand, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of stealing.
  • Eric K. Day, 17, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while revoked.

Summonses

  • Larry E. Swader, 63, of 612 Louis St., received a summons for a leash-law violation.
  • Michael A. Triplett, 20, and Tricia A. Roberts-Wren, 19, both of Jackson, each received a summons for assault.
  • Scott D. Conrad, 40, of 523 Minnesota Ave., received a summons for leash-law violation.

DWIs

  • Jerry W. Malone, 39, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to signal.
  • Wayne E. Hecktrotte, 57, of 45 N. West End Blvd, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and protective custody.
  • Felix M. Gonzalez, 31, address unknown, was arrested on suspicion for driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and failure to drive in a single lane.
  • Victor W. Powell, III, 27, of 3007 Wisteria Drive, Apt. F., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and careless and imprudent driving.
  • Epifanio Santos-Ambrose, 45, of 807 Perry Ave., Apt. A. was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, no operator's license and failure to drive in a single lane.

Thefts

  • Wheels, pots and pans were reported stolen at 611 Mechaw Drive.
  • A robbery and burglary was reported.
  • Great Wall of China Buffet, 3254 William St., reported a theft of food.
  • BP gas station, 3276 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Cash was reported stolen at 741 Giboney Ave. (rear).
  • Cash was reported stolen during a strong-arm robbery on North Fountain Street.
  • A radar detector was reported stolen at 1 Capaha Trail.

Property damage

  • A mailbox was reported damaged at 504 S. West End Blvd.
  • Vehicle glass was reported broken at 232 Broadway.
  • Damage to a vehicle was reported at 312 W. Lorimier St.

Miscellaneous

  • A firearm was reported found.
  • Supplying liquor to a minor was reported.
  • Child abuse was reported.
  • Telephone harassment was reported.
  • Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
  • A runaway juvenile was reported missing and later found.
  • Telephone harassment was reported.
  • A kidnapping was reported.

  • Currency under $500 was reported stolen at Cheney Hall.
  • Cash was reported stolen at Towers East.

The following items were reported by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Patrick W. Reeder, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.
  • Morgan E. Hellmann, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended, failure to maintain insurance on a vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without using a seat belt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 2800 block of Breckenridge.
  • A theft was reported in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported in the 300 block of South Missouri Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 400 block of Greensferry Road.

Property damage

  • Property was reported damaged in the 300 block of West Main Street.
  • Property was reported damaged in the 500 block of Forest Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported at West Jackson Boulevard and Dotty Lane.
  • Property was reported lost in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 700 block of Legion Street.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 700 block of East Jefferson Street.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 100 block of West Adams Street.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 100 blck of West Adams Street.
