Arrests; Thefts

Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Lydia L. Lockridge, 19, of 800 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for obstructing a court order.
  • Caine A. Meyers, 32, of Cobden, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Darcell C. Moore, 20, of 728 Hickory St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for leaving the scene of an accident, no operator's license, seat-belt violation, no proof of insurance, improper registration, prohibited acts noise disturbance, seat-belt violation, no operator's license, no proof of insurance, improper registration, no operator's license and improper registration.
  • Two 15-year-old boys were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.
  • Clarence Brown Jr., 21, of 816 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for no proof of insurance, revoked operator's license, having a revoked operator's license, failure to appear for possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to appear for false declaration.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Summonses

  • April R. Hettenhouser, 22, of Scott City received a summons for harassing phone calls.
  • Samuel W. Sampson, 44, of 2337 Erna St., received a summons for failure to maintain property free of litter.

Thefts

  • Missouri Veterans Home, 2400 Veterans Memorial Drive, reported a theft of medication.
  • Alliance Bank, 217 N. Kingshighway, reported a defrauding of a secured creditor.
  • Two burglaries were reported.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen at 45 S. West End Blvd.

Property damage

  • A deadbolt was reported damaged at 320 Mill Street.
  • A vehicle was reported scratched at 211 St. Francis Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • An ex parte violation was reported.
  • A suspicious fire was reported.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • Harassing phone calls were reported.

Jackson

The following items were reported by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • Cash was reported stolen in the 2600 block of Stotler Way.
  • A burglary was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
  • A burglary was reported in the 1500 block of Old Cape Road.
  • A theft was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South Missouri Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.
