Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • William S. Bailey Jr., 39, of Williamsville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).
  • Nicole M. Greable, 30, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon and assault.
  • Ryan T. Patterson, 25, of 312 W. Lorimier St., No 256, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Jonathan L. Jenkins, 28, of 329 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for tinted windows.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Joseph W. Holman, 32, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for nonsupport.
  • Teagan N. Turner, 22, of 1726 Dunklin St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.

Assaults

  • An assault, burglary, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and felony stealing of a firearm were reported.
  • Two domestic assaults were reported.

DWI

  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle while revoked, no proof of insurance and failure to have multiple beam head lamps on passenger car.

Thefts

  • A cell phone was reported stolen.
  • AmerenUE, 45 S. Minnesota St., reported spools of copper wire stolen.

Property damage

  • A window was reported broken at 919 S. Pacific St.
  • A window was reported broken at 433 S. Sprigg St.
  • Damage to vinyl blinds and a window was reported at 2984 County Road 620.

Miscellaneous

  • Illegal dumping was reported.

  • Matthew C. Jackson, 21, of 1258 County Road 603, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for felony property damage, burglary and assault.

  • An assault was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.
  • A peace disturbance and assault were reported in the 1100 block of Trail Ridge Road.

Thefts

  • A credit card was reported stolen in the 300 block of North High Street.
  • A license plate was reported stolen or lost in the 300 block of Westridge Drive.
  • A license plate was reported stolen or lost in the 100 block of South Bast Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage and a peace disturbance were reported in the 1200 block of East Main Street.
  • Property damage was reported in the 1100 block of Clark Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Careless and imprudent driving was reported in the 1100 block of South Hope Street.
  • Careless and imprudent driving was reported in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Loud music was reported in the 1000 block of North High Street.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of Nancy Drive.
  • A noise complaint was reported in the 300 block of East Lane.
  • A noise complaint was reported in the 400 block of Elm Street.
  • A bicycle was reported found in the 500 block of East Adams Street.
  • A disturbance was reported in the area of Elwanda Drive and Oak Street.
