Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Jonathan L. Lockridge, 18, of 800 S. Ellis St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to pay fines and cost for walking in the road when sidewalk available.
  • Crystal D. Seyer, 28, 6 River Crest Drive, No. 7, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for fraud-insufficient funds.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of trafficking.
  • Russell M. Moore, 30, of Scott City was arrested on a Scott City warrant for fraud and insufficient funds.

Assaults

  • Two assaults were reported.

Summons

  • Lance D. Sterling, 21, of 1127 S. Ellis St., received a summons for prohibited acts.

Thefts

  • St. Vincent de Paul, 1913 Ritter Drive, reported walkie talkies stolen and spray paint on building.
  • Prescription medication was reported stolen.
  • A debit card was reported stolen at 102 N. Park St.
  • An identity theft was reported.
  • Fraudulent use of a debit device was reported at 10 S. West End Blvd.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 351 N. Kingshighway.

Property damage

  • A road gate was damaged at Oakley Drive and Old Sprigg Road.
  • A window was reported broken and a screen damaged at 823 S. Benton St.
  • A bedroom window was reported broken at 1528 New Madrid St.
  • A bedroom window was reported broken at 1101 Bloomfield St.

Miscellaneous

  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • An ex parte violation was reported.
  • A 20-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • A firearm was reported found at Interstate 55 and Nash Road.
  • A request for service was reported.
  • Sexual misconduct was reported.
  • A 54-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • Interference with custody was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.
  • Interference with custody was reported.

Jackson

  • A theft was reported on Florence Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported at Elm and Luetje streets.
