Cape/Jackson police report 2/19/07

DWI

• Jerry Sanford, 40, of 123 S. Lorimier St., Apt. 3, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

Arrest

• Curtis Cox, 18, of 925 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Assault

• Assault was reported at 1710 N. Sprigg St.

Theft

• Money and a wallet were reported stolen from 543 N. Fountain St., Apt. 2.
• Gasoline was reported stolen from Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St.

Property damage

• A window was reported broken at 303 S. Hanover St.
• Property damage was reported at 732 William St.
• Property damage was reported at 1224 College Drive.

Miscellaneous

• Sexual abuse was reported.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of South Sprigg Street.
• First-degree robbery and armed criminal action were reported in the 300 block of Broadway.
• A suicide attempt was reported.
• A subject was taken into protective custody.
• Trespassing and sexual misconduct were reported.
• Failure to return rental property was reported at Cliff's Rent to Own, 612 Morgan Oak St.

Summons

• Scott M. Owen, 19, of 395 County Road 540, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the 100 block of Henderson Street.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

• Suspicious activity was reported in the 1600 block of Highland Drive.
• Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of Elm Street.
