Arrests

  • A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges of domestic assault and property damage.
  • Gregory E. Criddle, 23, 921 William St., No. 4, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay fine and costs for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Nancy Elizabeth Merchant, 23, 2729 Hawthorne Road, was arrested on a Pevely, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.
  • Cynthia C. Dent, 27, 6312 Wyoming St., St. Louis, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for prohibited acts.
  • Joshua A. Foster, 22, 1400 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for improper or incomplete motor vehicle inspection.
  • Michael L. Gockel, 37, 1910 W. Weissinger St., Cape Girardeau, was arrested for a probation and parole warrant for parole absconder.
  • Terry L. Zoellner, 43, 411 South French St., Perryville, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing.

Assaults

  • An assault was reported at 1927 N. Kingshighway. James A. Welsh Jr., 23, 136 S. Lorimier St., No. 7, was arrested in connection with the complaint.

  • An identity theft was reported.
  • Wal-Mart, 3239 William St., reported a theft of clothing. Pamela L. White, 26, 826 Elm St., was arrested in connection with the complaint.

  • A cell phone was reported stolen at 318 S. Lorimier St.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported theft of gasoline.
  • Fraudulent use of a debit device was reported at 407 N. Kingshighway.
  • Theft of cash was reported at 546 S. Sprigg St.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported theft of gasoline.
  • A pit bull was taken from 814 Fountain St.
  • A cell phone was reported stolen from 3439 William St.
  • Schnucks reported a liquor theft.
  • A purse, cash, checkbook and credit cards were reported stolen.

Burglary

  • Blockbuster Video, 2502 William St., reported a burglary.
  • A PlayStation 3, Xbox, games, controllers and a PlayStation 2 were reported stolen from 1005 N. Middle St.
  • A burglary and property damage were reported by Heuer and Sons at 533 Morgan Oak St.

Property damage

  • A truck windshield and hood were reported damaged at 351 N. Kingshighway.
  • A bathroom sink, wood floor and drywall were reported damaged at 337 N. Ellis St.
  • A toilet was reported damaged at 1327 N. West End Blvd.
  • A vehicle license plate and rear bumper were reported damaged.

  • A drug violation was reported in the 400 block of South Benton Street.
  • Tampering and trespassing was reported at 1319 N. Mount Auburn Road.
  • A peace disturbance was reported at 602 S. Kingshighway.
