Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Jeremy A. Kijowski, 24, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving without headlights.

Arrests

• Steven E. Mays, 46, 223 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Dunklin County warrant for two counts of probation violation.
• A suspect was taken into custody pending charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession of alcohol by a minor, receiving stolen property and unlawful use of a weapon.
• Joshua H. Bowers, 22, 1908 Bloomfield St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

Thefts

• Identity theft was reported.
• Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported food, clothing and a cell phone stolen.
• Kidd's, 1325 Broadway, reported gasoline stolen.

Burglary

• A burglary was reported.

Assault

• A domestic assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

• Unlawful use of a weapon was reported in the 300 block of Benton Street.
• Telephone harassment was reported.
• A 26-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Douglas Withers, 34, 372 Wills Drive, was arrested on a Branson, Mo., warrant for resisting arrest.

Summonses

• Douglas Withers, 34, 372 Wills Drive, was issued a summons for no valid license and failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Gary L. Laurentius Jr., 19, 224 N. Park St., was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Jason W. Thompson, 27, 539 Teton Lane, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Carol A. McLemore, 45, 111 Tracy St., was issued a summons for failure to register vehicle and no insurance.
• Matthew M. Hinkle, 24, Rural Route 1, Box 287, Marble Hill, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to register vehicle and no insurance.
• Geraldine B. Patterson, no age given, 2080 Old Toll Road No. 203, was issued a summons for failure to register vehicle and no valid license.

Theft

• There were four reports of theft in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
• Theft was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
• Theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

• A burglary was reported in the 1400 block of Woodland Drive.

Property damage

• Property was reported damaged in the 1000 block of Birdie Lane.
• Property was reported damaged in the 700 block of East Independence Street.
• Property was reported damaged in the 1400 block of Woodland Drive.
• Property was reported damaged in the 1000 block of Redbud Street.
• Property was reported damaged in the 1100 block of Birdie Lane.
• Property was reported damaged in the 1600 block of North Farmington Road.
• Property was reported damaged in the 200 block of South Bellevue Street.
• Property was reported damaged in the 1500 block of Boxwood Drive.
