Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Amy B. McCatrey, 32, of Charleston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Artresha T. Wallace, 25, 2839 Whitener St., Apt. A4, was arrested on two Arnold, Mo., warrants for failure to appear for a traffic violation.
  • Jason E. Cooper, 33, of Whitewater was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

DWI

  • A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges for driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving while license revoked.

Summons

  • Marcus T. Anthony, of 1317 Monticello Lane, received a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign, striking a legally stopped vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

Thefts

  • Kidd's Gasoline, 1325 Broadway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • McDonald's, 1925 Broadway, reported the theft of a picture with frame.
  • A dog was reported stolen at 7 N. Park Drive.
  • Kidds II, Inc., 103 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Dollar General, 724 Broadway, reported a theft of lighters.
  • Smoker's Outlet, 2116 William St., reported a theft of cigarettes.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported.
  • Harassment was reported.

Property damage

  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 2620 Kenneth Drive.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

  • Lacy E. Deevers, 24, of Cape Girardeau, received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle with the Department of Revenue and failure to maintain current proof of insurance information.
  • A 16-year-old Cape Girardeau boy was issued a summons for exceeding the posted speed limit.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported in the 2000 block of Old Toll Road.
