Arrests

  • John R. Smith, 18, of Jackson, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for animal abuse.
  • Michael D. Bell Sr., 25, 1327 West End Blvd., was arrested on a Mississippi County warrant for probation for an ex parte violation and a Sikeston warrant for disorderly conduct.
  • Kevin M. Edwards, 20, of McClure, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of drug paraphernalia.
  • Amy E. O'Kelly, 34, of 1444 Luce St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at red light and possession of marijuana.
  • Roshonda R. Miller, 22, of 2564 Lisa Drive, No. 6, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for passing bad checks.
  • Adam C. Bollinger, 24, of Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, stop sign violation, failure to yield, failure to signal and property damage.

Thefts

  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 1015 Bloomfield St.
  • A cell phone was reported stolen at 40 N. Sprigg St.
  • Money was reported stolen at Taco John's, 111 N. Kingshighway.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

  • Corey L. Drum, 16, of Millersville, was issued a summons for failure to stop for a traffic sign.
  • Levi M. Asher, 17, of 723 Rodney St., was issued a summons for failure to stop for a traffic sign.
  • Johnny Joyce Jr., 19, of Marble Hill, was issued a summons for failure to register vehicle.
  • Nyla L. Hennemann, 55, of 1715 Jennifer Drive, was issued a summons for fail to stop for a traffic sign.
  • Tyson G. Bottorff, 33, of Sedgewickville, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to register vehicle.

Theft

  • A theft was reported in the 2700 block of South Hope Street.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported in the 100 block of South Farmington Road.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 400 block of East Washington Street.
