Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Albert George Terrien, 39, 631 E. Adams St., Apt. 2, Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), tampering with evidence and driving with a revoked license.
  • Youn Gonzales, 40, 1816 Good Hope St., was arrested for prohibited acts/noise control.
  • A subject was taken into custody pending filing for formal charges of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia and a stop sign violation.
  • A subject was taken into custody pending filing of formal charges for driving while intoxicated.
  • Zachariah William Jones, 22, 616 Boxwood St., Apt. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for prohibited acts, noise disturbance.
  • Brandon E. Dean Jr., 17, 1400 S. West End Blvd., Apt. 1, was arrested for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for trespassing.

Burglary

  • Cook's Portable Warehouse, 618 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of a television with a VCR.
  • Miscellaneous coins and a watch were reported stolen at 318 N. Middle St.
  • An air conditioner was reported stolen at 133 S. Ellis St.

  • A pistol was reported stolen from an unknown area.

Miscellaneous

  • A disturbance of the peace was reported.
  • A false report was reported.
  • A 46-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • An assault was reported.
  • Phone harassment was reported.
  • A gray MTD Yardmachine push lawnmower was found.
  • A 1994 white Chrysler LeBaron was recovered at Woodbine and Mimosa streets.

Miscellaneous

  • Request to keep the peace in the 200 block of North Ohio Street.
