Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Mark A. Taylor, 17, of Lilbourn, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.
  • Dennis W. Collins, 19, of McClure, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for endangering the welfare of a child and domestic assault.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited in juvenile court for a curfew violation.
  • Erica Hempstead-Woods, 24, 716 Broadway, Apt. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and costs for driving while intoxicated.
  • William M. Sidwell, 25, of Ballwin, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for supplying alcohol to minors.
  • Chad A. Venson Sr., 30, 21 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for revoked operator's license.
  • Corinne S. White, 18, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper registration.

Assaults

  • An assault was reported.
  • A domestic assault was reported.
  • Domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.

Thefts

  • A check was reported stolen at 1330 N. Sprigg St.
  • Checks were reported stolen at 102 Mason St.
  • A bow and rifle were reported stolen at 2028 Cambridge Drive.

Property damage

  • A window was reported broken at 2206 Kent Drive.
  • Property damage and tampering were reported at 310 Broadway.

  • Harassment was reported.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

  • Tommy E. Sticht, 40, of 504 N. Neal Ave., received a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to register a motor vehicle, failure to maintain insurance and driving while revoked.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 1000 block of Old Cape Road.
  • Property damage was reported on Old Cape Road East.
  • Property damage was reported at 600 E. Adams St.

Southeast Missouri State University

The following item was released by the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Theft

  • Stealing and fraudulent use of a credit device were reported at Towers Circle.
