The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Lacina S. Lawrence, 23, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested in connection with possession of a controlled substance and on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.

Theft

  • Bud Shell Auto World, 411 Siemers Drive, reported a theft of a CD player.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 400 block of Green Meadows Drive.
  • A theft was reported in the 500 block of Vail Drive.
  • A theft was reported in the 1800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported in the 1800 block of West Independence Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 3100 block of Breckenridge Drive.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 3200 block of Oak Ridge Drive.
  • Property damage was reported in the 500 block of Hidden Meadows Drive.
  • Property damage was reported in the 500 block of North Oak Hill Road.
  • Property damage was reported in the 300 block of Hidden Meadows Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 2500 block of Terrace Park Place.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 1500 block of Deerwood Drive.
