Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

* At 6:44 p.m., emergency medical service at the 700 block of Hackberry Street.

* At 7:27 p.m., emergency medical service at the 1700 block of Lyndhurst Drive.

* At 9:46 p.m., emergency medical service at the 2800 block of Themis Street.

* At 10:55 p.m., emergency medical service at the 200 block of North Park Street.

* At 11:00 p.m., assist with a motor vehicle accident on U.S. 61 in Fruitland.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Sunday:

* n At 4:17 a.m., a couch fire at the intersection of Themis and North Ellis streets.

* At 11:16 a.m., a medical assist at the 2700 block of Lynnwood Drive.

* At 1:18 p.m., a legal burn at 185 E. Cape Rock Drive.

* At 2:00 p.m., a medical assist at the intersection of Timon Way and Big Bend Road.

* At 2:27 p.m., a medical assist at the 600 block of Boxwood Drive.

* At 3:34 p.m., a medical assist at the 200 block of Barberry Street.

* At 4:23 p.m., a medical assist at the intersection of Boutin Drive and Cape La Croix Road.

* At 4:30 p.m., a medical assist at 1333 N. Sprigg St.
