The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Roy L. Jones, 35, of 326 Morgan Oak St., was arrested on suspicion of second degree domestic assault.
  • Matthew H. Besand, of 920 Penny Ave., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
  • A 13-year-old boy was cited into juvenile supervision for issuing terrorist threats.

Summonses

  • Mohammad H. Abu-Khudeir, 59, of 151 Navajo Drive, was issued a summons on suspicion of careless and imprudent driving.
  • Melanie E. Powers, 43, of 1927 N. Kingshighway, No. 20, was issued a summons on suspicion of a leash-law violation.
  • Thrisa M. Ayers, 54, of 1018 S. Benton St. was issued a summons on suspicion of a leash-law violation.

Assaults

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • An assault was reported.
  • Third-degree assault and an ex parte violation were reported.
  • Second-degree domestic assault and first-degree assault and burglary were reported.

Thefts

  • Identity theft was reported.
  • A stereo and climate control module were reported stolen from 540 Rear S. Frederick St.
  • A purse was reported stolen from 2418 Bloomfield Road.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • A Weedeater was reported stolen from 251 E. Cape Rock Drive.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported gasoline stolen.
  • Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • Two 12-year-old boys were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of burglary and stealing.
  • Pizza Inn, 333 Gordonville Road, reported a money bag and cash stolen.
  • A computer, stereo, speakers and an XBox were reported stolen from 411 Albert St.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
  • A camera was reported stolen from 3093 William St.

Property damage

  • A window was reported broken at 10 N. Pacific St.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at the corner of Broadway and West End Boulevard.

  • Disturbing the peace was reported.
  • A missing person was reported and later located.
  • Interfering with arrest was reported.
