Cape Girardeau Police Department responded to the following calls. Arrest does not imply guilt.

Arrest

• A warrant arrest was reported on South Ranney Avenue.

Assault

• Assault was reported on Whitener Street.

Thefts

• Theft from a vehicle was reported on Grandview Drive.
• Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories, first-degree property damage to motor vehicle with intent to steal was reported on Cape LaCroix Road.

Miscellaneous

• Unlawful surrender custody/transfer custody of minor child without obtaining court order approval/order transferring custody was reported.
• Failure to register a motor vehicle/trailer annually, possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia -- amphetamine or methamphetamine was reported on William Street.
