The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Misty D. Eisenhauer, 42, of Du Quoin, Illinois, was arrested at 401 Independence St. on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for passing bad checks.

Summons

• Connell L. Chapman Jr., 48, 1237 N. Water St., was issued a summons for failure to keep a business free of litter.

Assault

• Domestic assault, resisting arrest and protective custody were reported.

Burglary

• Burglary and theft were reported at 229 S. Lorimier St.

Thefts

• Food was reported stolen at 2123 Broadway.
• A Samsung cellphone was reported stolen at 8 Village Lane.
• Theft was reported at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.
• A wallet and its contents were reported stolen.
• Theft was reported at Budget Truck Rental, 606 S. Kingshighway.
• Cologne and several credit or debit cards were reported stolen.
• Shoplifting was reported at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

Property damage

• A plant was reported damaged at 419 Koch St.
• Siding was reported damaged at 1525 Stoddard St.

Miscellaneous

• Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
• Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
• A 48-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported at 1119 Cousin St.
• A 24-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
• Failure to yield to emergency vehicles was reported at North Sprigg Street and Broadway.
