The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Herbert J. Seyer, 54, 1605 N. Clark Ave., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Abby E. Withers, 22, 615 Lafayette Place, No. 2, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.

Arrests

* Joshua E. Coonce, 29, of Bismark, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Dody S. Menz, 36, 225 W. Forest Ave., Apt. B4, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Jennifer A. Fowlkes, 28, 3208 Themis St., Apt 1, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Becky Ann Williams, 31, 222 Estate Drive, No. 152, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Charles W. Barham, 29, 616 Boxwood Drive, Apt. 3, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of statutory sodomy.

* Joel N. Mills, 50, of Jackson was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court for suspended operator's license and following too close.

Summonses

* Jerry D.J. Linhart, no age given, 1927 N. Kingshighway, No. 56, was issued a summons for failure to maintain right half of road, expired driver's license and no proof of insurance.

* Shamodre T. Newson, 21, of Sikeston, Mo., was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance and no proof of insurance.

* Ronald L. Burton, 66, of Tamms, Ill., was issued a summons for excessive weed growth.

* Greta Z. Kencheva, no age given, 721 Morgan Oak St., was issued a summons for failure to drive in a single lane.

* Amanda R. Backfish, 32, 1927 N. Kings-highway, Lot 50, was issued a summons for property damage.

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Jackson W. Fowler, 18, of St. Louis was issued a summons for being a minor in possession.
