The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt

DWIs

* Zachary J. McCarthy, 26, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.

* Karen D. Stevenson, 44, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of stealing at 510 N. Fountain St.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

* Tyler O. Johnson, 23, of New Madrid, Missouri, as arrested on a Howardville, Missouri, warrant for assault.

Summonses

* Tyler D. Barfield, 19, of Collinsville, Illinois, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Kody M. McGehee, 18, of Edwardsville, Illinois, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Garrett C. Bernreuter, 18, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Thefts

* A guitar pedal and strings were reported stolen at 126 S. Hanover St.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 436 N. Frederick St.

* A bicycle was reported stolen at 121 S. Sprigg St.

* Automobile parts were reported stolen at 1410 S. Sprigg St.

* A mower was reported stolen at 509 Linden St.

* A cellphone was reported stolen.

Robbery

* Robbery, felonious restraint and armed criminal action were reported at Dollar General, 63 S. Plaza Way.

Property damage

* Sears, 330 Siemers Drive, reported property damage.

* A vehicle was reported damaged at North Water Street and Broadway.

* A vehicle was reported damaged at 2815 S. Sprigg St.

* A vehicle was reported damaged at 1813 Greenbrier Drive.

Miscellaneous

* A 26-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 46-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Counterfeiting was reported at 612 S. Sprigg St.

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY

The Department of Public Safety released the following item.

* Ashley N. Elliott, 22, of Hazelwood, Missouri, was issued a summons for trespassing.
