CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A juvenile was cited on suspicion of assault at 525 E. Ellis St.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing a vehicle at 517 S. Benton St.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing clothes at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of leaving the scene of an accident, driving while revoked, failure to register a motor vehicle, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and no insurance.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault.
• Charles J. Green Jr., 23, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for parole violation.

Summons

• Shannon Mungle, 53, no address given, was issued a summons for assault at 100 N. West End Blvd.

Assaults

• Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

• Burglary and the theft of collectibles and money were reported at 2727 Hawthorne Road.
• Burglary, the theft of electronics and cash and damage to a window screen were reported at 234 N. Lorimier St.

Thefts

• Fuel was reported stolen at U-Haul, 740 S. Kingshighway.
• Theft from a motor vehicle was reported at 1448 N. Kingshighway.
• Theft of a debit or credit device was reported at 2857 Themis St.
• Theft of a wallet and its contents and fraudulent use of a credit or debit device were reported at 308 Siemers Drive.
• Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at U-Haul, 740 S. Kingshighway.
• Theft of fire extinguishers and food merchandise and damage to a vehicle window and door were reported at Frito-Lay, 1857 Rusmar St.
• A wallet and its contents were reported stolen from a vehicle at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• A bicycle was reported stolen at 740 S. Kingshighway.
• A cellphone was reported stolen at 492 Green Acres Drive.
• A motor vehicle was reported stolen.
• Merchandise was reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Property damage

• A vehicle windshield was reported damaged at 609 Bellevue St.
• Vehicle parts were reported damaged at 832 S. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

• Forgery was reported.
• A 28-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance was reported at 202 Siemers Drive.
• Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
• A 51-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Peace disturbance was reported at Broadway and Clark Avenue.
• A runaway juvenile was reported.
• An animal bite was reported at 1022 S. Benton St.
• Request for service was reported.
• Request for service was reported at 1809 N. Kingshighway.
• Careless and imprudent driving and failure to yield were reported at Mount Auburn Road and William Street.
• A 51-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• A missing juvenile or runaway was reported at 623 Sycamore Circle.
