Arrests

* Phillip J. Swift, 26, 1459 Rand St., was arrested on a warrant for absconding from parole.

* Joseph Calhoun, 24, of Chicago was arrested on an Arnold, Mo., warrant for failing to appear for a traffic violation.

* Melanie A. Swift, 25, 1459 Rand St., was arrested on a Dexter, Mo., warrant for theft of fuel.

* Jaime E. Cerrano, 20, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of forgery and resisting arrest.

* Two juveniles were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of disturbing the peace at 518 N. Fountain St.

* Tina M. Franklin, 20, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of failing to appear on a theft charge.

* Deandre M. Tipler, 19, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for selling cocaine, no seat belt, prohibited acts, no insurance and no license.

* Jerry L. Warren Sr., 47, 412 S. Benton, was arrested for failure to appear for driving while revoked.

* Amy D. Thompson, 36, 239 N. Middle St., Apt. 7, was arrested on a county warrant for probation violation.

* Dorothy L. Babers, 20, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.

* Clarice R. Shannon, 33, 630 N. Spanish St., Apt. B, was arrested on a city warrant for failure to appear for a parking violation, speeding, driving while revoked, false declaration and a seat-belt violation.

Summonses

* Thomas W. Houghtaling, 52, 130 S. Henderson Ave., was issued a summons for failure to keep property free of litter, failure to have an animal city license and animal neglect.

* Sandra D. Sides, 53, of Florissant, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to keep property free of weeds, failure to keep property free of trash and litter.

* Kiara M. Spillers, 21, 517 N. Fountain St., was issued a summons for prohibited acts, noise.

* Matthew D. Christopher, 23, 1626 West End Blvd., was issued a summons for prohibited acts, noise.

Assault

* Assault and trespassing were reported.

Burglary

* Shoes, a PlayStation, cell phone, guitar and case, and a Japanese flag were reported stolen at 807 N. Sprigg St.

Theft

* Walmart, 3439 William St., reported a watch, purse and wallet stolen. A suspect was in custody pending formal charges.

* A wallet, stereo, amplifier and subwoofers were reported stolen at 410 Kiwanis Drive.

* Assa Asphalt, 511 S. Kingshighway, reported a hand-held chop saw stolen.

* Walmart, 3439 William St., reported a recorder, camera and case stolen.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at 207 N. Pinewood Place.

* Property damage was reported at 1000 N. Middle St.

Miscellaneous

* Phone harassment was reported.

* A 49-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A 28-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* Counterfeiting was reported.

Arrests

* John D. Roach Jr., 33, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault.

* Kyle A. Foutch, 21, no address given, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for operating a vehicle with vision-reducing material applied to his windshield, excessive vision-reducing material applied to his side window and failure to appear for a seat-belt charge.

* Steven Jackson, 17, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Vivian Kinder, 49, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for fraud and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.

* Kristen Love, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested suspicion of driving with a suspended license and failing to signal.

* Clifford Adams, 45, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault.

* Charles L. Pinkston Jr., 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Shanda Berry, 27, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for forgery, failure to appear for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child and failure to appear for operating a vehicle without a license.

* Michael McCoy, 38, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine.

* James O. Dixon Jr., 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for distribution of cocaine.

* Barbara Burger, 38, of Jackson was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit-debit card device.

* Katie L. Hendrickson, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

* Russell Walter, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

* Phillip Dante, 32, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and on a warrant for driving while revoked.
