The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* A subject was in custody pending the filing of formal charges of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, stop sign violation, failure to yield and no proof of insurance.

* Jordan D. Hale, 20, 421 Sheridan Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* A subject was in custody pending the filing of formal charges of operating a motor vehicle knowing the owner didn't have insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Lorenzo Tate Jr., 22, 409 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a probation violation.

* A subject was in custody, pending the filing of formal charges, on suspicion of failure to yield to emergency vehicle and driving while revoked.

* Nicholas J. Nussbaum, 20, 430 Sheridan Drive, was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession.

* Brendan K. Spann, 19, 1000 Towers South, was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Billy L. Abernathy, 29, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for careless and imprudent driving.

* A subject was in custody pending the filing of formal charges of resisting arrest.

* Crystal L. Stults, 26, 105 W. Forester Drive, was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Walmart.

* A 14-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of a peace disturbance.

* Tabitha L. Speakman, 17, 1802 Montgomery Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a probation violation.

* Alexander S. Harris, 21, 1204 Bloomfield St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a peace disturbance.

* A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody on suspicion of truancy and being beyond parental control.

Summonses

* Amy J. Stoffregen, 30, 635 Charles St., received a summons for not having a required animal city license.

* Scott T. Wigand, 46, of Jasper, Ind., received a summons for an unsafe structure and not disposing of trash.

* Drew Robert Geldbach, 21, 1432 Themis St., received a summons for maintaining a disorderly house.

* Marsha Vel Hinson, 46, 315 S. Lorimier St., received a summons for a peace disturbance and property damage.

* Jaleel R. Whitaker, 18, 614 N. Fountain St., received a summons for a peace disturbance and property damage.

* A cell phone was reported stolen at 2804 Themis St.

* A Labrador/boxer mix dog was reported stolen at 444 Washington Ave.

Property damage

* A Mazda sport utility vehicle was reported damaged at 616 Koch Ave.

* A vehicle was reported damaged at 720 Walnut Drive.

* A vehicle was reported damaged at 262 E. Cape Rock Drive.

* A scooter was reported damaged at 509 Bellevue St.

Miscellaneous

* Failure to return to confinement was reported.

* A 29-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

* A 48-year-old man and 36-year-old man were placed in protective custody.
