DWI

  • Marcellus Jones, 48, of Cape Girardeau issued a summonses for driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting/interfering with arrest and driving while revoked.
  • Juveniles were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of peace disturbance at 2103 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Andrea B. Backfisch, 23, of Benton, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • John M. Bergauer, 59, 333 N. Ellis St., Apt. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for trespassing.
  • Paige A.M. Fitzpatrick, 20, 1323 Bel Air Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
  • Brian Johnson, 37, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.

Summonses

  • Perriah P.D. Smith, 18, of Sikeston, Missouri, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
  • Dayveion J. Graham, 20, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Shelby L. Brown, 23, of Scott City was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.
  • James C. Jackson, 37, of Cairo, Illinois, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
  • Bernard P. Williams, 38, of Cairo, Illinois, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and violation of a steady signal.

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • A lawn mower, weed eater, multiple tools and a black trailer were reported stolen at 321 Albert St.
  • Shoplifting was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Shoplifting was reported at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
  • Shoplifting was reported at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
  • Stealing was reported.
  • Miscellaneous merchandise was reported stolen at Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, 2021 Independence St.

Burglary

  • Burglary and theft were reported at 1624 Kingshighway.

Property damage

  • A window was reported damaged at 44 N. Henderson Ave.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 2857 Themis St. and North Silver Springs Road.
  • Property damage was reported at 232 Shirley Drive.
