  • Brittany N. Pearl, 19, of Cobden, Illinois, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and being a minor in possession.

Summonses

  • Matthew B. Rider, 33, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Brett W. Martin, 18, of Imperial, Missouri, was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving and improper passing.
  • Cody T. Kertz, no age given, of Perryville, Missouri, was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.

  • Damage to a vehicle and the theft of a purse and its contents were reported at 13 Doctors' Park Drive.
  • A PlayStation 4, controllers, games and an Xbox were reported stolen at 337 North Ellis St.
  • A wallet, its contents, a phone charger and computer were reported stolen at 1828 La Mesa Drive.
  • Items were reported stolen from a vehicle at 3049 William St.

Miscellaneous

  • Possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.
  • A 33-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • Trespassing was reported.
  • Counterfeiting was reported at Stevie's Steakburgers, 600 Broadway.
  • Harassment was reported.
  • Assault was reported.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported at 1828 La Mesa Drive.
  • A 32-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Stacy N. Heider, 40, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Justin M. Trepanier, 24, of Jackson was arrested on a Camden County warrant for a probation violation and a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for failure to appear.
