Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing clothing at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Audrey R. Llanes-Juarez, 18, 1662 Westwood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while revoked and failure to stop at stop sign.
  • Two suspects were in custody pending formal charges of receiving stolen property, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Deontai J. Cooper, 23, 1122 Bend Road, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear and on suspicion of an unlicensed vehicle.

Summonses

  • John E. Duperier, 51, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at 212 S. Lorimier St.
  • Geethanjali Gaddam, 22, 4 Village Drive, Vinay K. Madichetty, 26, and Neelima Kothakonda, 26, both of 1324 N. Sprigg St., were issued summonses for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Property damage

  • Ruts in grass at East Cape Rock Drive and Cape Rock Circle were reported by the city of Cape Girardeau.

  • Assault was reported.

  • A request for service was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana were reported.
  • A 32-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
