CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of forgery in the 800 block of North Kingshighway.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance at Isle Casino Cape Girardeau, 777 N. Main St.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana at 485 S. Mount Auburn Road.

Summons

• Traiveon Selvey-Lester, 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at First and North Water streets.

Assault

• Assault was reported in the 1500 block of Amblewood Drive.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at Rhodes 101 Stop, 1126 N. Sprigg St.
• Stealing and fraudulent use of a credit or debit device at 2136 William St.
• Theft was reported at Budget Inn, 1448 N. Kingshighway.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at Broadway Prescription Shop, 710 Broadway.
• Property damage was reported at 319 Park Drive.

Miscellaneous

• A 54-year-old man was taken into protective custody at 3419 William St.
• Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported at 77 S. Plaza Way.
• Resisting or interfering with arrest, operating a motor vehicle without a license and no lamp/tail light was reported at Highway 74 and South Sprigg Street.
