Cape Girardeau police report 8/3/14

CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Brian D. Cayce, 21, 843 Jefferson St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

* Jason R. Ford, 34, 515 Cape Meadows Circle, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

* Everett P. Way, 39, 1422 Bertling St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.

* Nicole M. Greable, 38, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was arrested on Butler County warrants for driving while revoked and failure to appear for stealing and a Poplar Bluff warrant for failure to appear for traffic offense.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while revoked.

Assault

* Assault was reported

Burglary

* Burglary and damage to ceiling tile, a table and a chair were reported.

Thefts

* Theft of duplicate checks, a radar detector and a utility knife were reported stolen and tampering with a motor vehicle were reported at 123 N. Henderson Ave.

* Theft of a wallet and cash were reported stolen and tampering with a motor vehicle were reported at 244 N. Park St.

* Two bicycles were reported stolen at 17 S. Hanover St.

* Shoplifting was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Property damage

* A window was reported damaged at 508 Alta Vista Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Violation of an order of protection was reported.

* Trespassing was reported at 845 Walnut St.
