The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Tyler L. Ober, 24, 611 S. West End Blvd., was arrested at 2134 Independence St. on a Scott City warrant for contempt of court.
  • Gerald L. Ivy, 33, 45 S. West End Blvd., was arrested at North Pind Wood Lane and Whitener Street on an Alexander County, Illinois, warrant for failure to appear for driving while suspended.
  • Cedric J. Lucious, 27, of Jackson awas arrested at 1701 Lacey St. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for second-degree domestic assault, assault on a law-enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while revoked, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and driving while intoxicated.

  • Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 1710 N. Sprigg St.

  • Property damage was reported at 601 North St.
  • Property damage was reported at 3010 Aspen Drive.
  • Property damage was reported at 1304 Dunklin St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 48-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 17-year-old boy was taken into protective custody.
